All of the stores
on our site are safeguarded, each using the latest industry-standard Secure
Sockets Layering (SSL) technology. This process encodes your personal
information with 128 bit encryption, including your credit card number,
before it travels over the Internet to the merchant's site and renders it
unreadable to anyone trying to intercept the information. Statistics show that
it's much safer to transmit your credit card information over the web
than it is to mail, fax or phone in the information. According to RSA Security®,
the leader in E-security, "it would take a hacker 1 trillion x 1 trillion
years to break the 128 bit encryption with the current computer technology"
To verify that your browser is in secure mode, a "lock" or "key" icon should be displayed on the status bar of your browser window. You can also verify that your browser is in secure mode by examining the URL displayed in the address bar. The URL will start with "https" when a secure connection has been established rather than "http" which indicates a standard or non-secure connection. If you are not on a secure connection, do not give out your personal information or credit card numbers as this puts you at risk for identity theft and / or credit card fraud.
